Tomorrow, i’ll hop on my plane to … St. Martin and I’m so excited! This will be one of the most exciting trips for me because I have a lot of collaborations with great companies on the island. I even got invited by the Heineken Regatta which is truly a highlight in my bloggingcareer. You’ll find me either discovering the island or snorkeling in the turquoise water. (I’m almost to excited to write) and how perfect would it be then that I won’t need to wear any makeup? Yes you’re right, PERFECT. In my opinion there are three reasons why you should try lash extensions namely; you’re looking fabulous 24/7, for the lazy one’s among us (me) it saves a lot of time in the morning. So you can sleep for 5 more minutes and we all know that is all that we want sometimes. And last but not least, eyelash extensions are perfect during the holidays. They will stay perfect even when you jump off your boat, swim in your pool or having an intense workout on the beach. The only negative thing that I can think of is that you will get addicted to them;)
I got my lashes by Studio Nina van Veluw and they are amazing. They feel like silk feathers and are nothing compared with normal fake lashes. I got a combination of the Russian 3D volume and the one-by-one technique because we really wanted them to stand out because of the upcoming photoshoots. Together with Nina you can find out what you like the most for yourself, from a more naturel look to a more distinct one. You can choose the length, the volume and the amount of curl you want. The studio is located in Amsterdam and easily found, the prices of the treatment can be found here. The treatment will take about 2 hours and for the ones who wonder; no it won’t hurt a bit. The best part of this all is that I can give away one treatment (worth 75,-)
