| ROUGH ROADS LEAD TO GREAT HEIGHTS |
Cap de Formentor literally means, the end of Formentor and is the name of the 20 kilometers long peninsula on the most northern tip of Mallorca. They often say that rough roads lead to greatness and with this place it literally means that. The road towards Cap de Formentor is characterized by huge rocks and cliffs that rise out of the water and is absolutely jaw dropping. Along the road there will be multiple points to stop and enjoy the amazing view. At the end you’ll find a beautiful lighthouse and with good weather conditions you can even see Menorca in the distance. So to make the picture complete, a trip to the lighthouse is a must! The restaurant in the lighthouse is not always open so take enough food and water with you on this trip.
Formentor is part of the Serra de Tramuntana, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site and is 90km long from Andratx to Formentor. This place is ideal to go for long bike and hike trails and if your lucky you’ll meet a lot of new friends along the way too, the mountain goats. As some of you may know, I often go explore in this area and if you want to read more you can do so under the category; travel. Mallorca is full of breathtaking towns and villages and you can read everything about it here.
We also made YouTube videos about these beautiful places so be sure to check them out here. For this beautiful and idyllic place I wore a dress from Ana Alcazar, one of my favorite brands when it comes to maxi dresses.
