Today I’m writing about a beautiful hidden beach called Cala Tuent + tips which is on the North-west coast of Mallorca and is located in the shadow of Puig Major. The road towards it is also very beautiful because we came by two beautiful crystal clear lakes (where I’ll write about later) on your way up. Cala Tuent is also very nice to combine with Port de Sa Calobra which is a lot more popular and known for the magnificent location between two cliffs where the canyon Torrent de Pareis reaches the sea.
Tips on how to get to Cala Tuent
Cala Tuent is located in a thick pine wood between some rocky cliffs. And the water is as you can see, perfect for a swim because the water is crystal clear. There is a lot of space and because of the lack of restaurants, shops or beachclubs you have a very peaceful experience on this remote beach. Below you’ll see pictures from the road towards Cala Tuent and the beach itself.
Tips for Cala Tuent
- No toilets or facilities at this beach
- This beach is very tranquil and low key, looking for something more bubbly? Read more here about the 10x best beaches
- Cala Tuent is great for snorkeling thanks to the crystal and shallow water
- No restaurants or bars over here so make sure to bring it yourself
- Combine it with Port de Sa Calobra
I haven’t been swimming there but I’ve heard from a lot of people the water is perfect for snorkeling and I’m definitely going to do that next time I’m there:) There also is one restaurant at about 1,5 km back called Es Vergeret where you have a magnificent view on the emerald-green water and the tranquil beach while you enjoy some paella. The restaurant is open daily between 12:00 to 17:00 and it has a large panoramic terrace with beautiful views of Cala Tuent. In the evening, you will experience the tranquility and peace of Cala Tuent, with an unforgettable view of the sea and mountains.
♥ The restaurant also has a couple of apartments to rent, just a small tip!
I really hope you’d liked this post and got you inspired to go and explore Cala Tuent. If so, or you have any questions… please feel free to comment below!:) Have a lovely week everyone! Do you want more travel stories? Or a suggestion of where we should travel to next; don’t hesitate to comment.
