Spain is a popular holiday destination in the summer but also in autumn which is certainly worth knowing. Think of the beautiful culture, great temperatures, the delicious food and the peace around you. In this article I’ll tell you why Spain is fantastic in autumn.

Rich culture in Spain
Spain is known for their rich culture and beautiful buildings. Where it is normally o so busy, it is now a lot quieter. This allows you to enjoy more and longer of all the beauty that’s around you. My biggest tip is to explore Spain by car, in the low season the prices to rent a car are a lot lower than in the high season. Just step into your car, pick a view places that you want to see and just drive. Imagine: good company, some good music and just stop whenever you see nice terrace or something beautiful.
Sporty Chic
In Spain you can practice a lots of different sports thanks to the versatile landscape. Think of the beautiful island Mallorca that is perfect for cycling because of the many mountains. Or think of Menorca, the island where you can find many hiking trails. You could also go diving, visit one of the many golf resorts or choose for a tennis clinic.
Relaxation
We all need a vacation to escape from all the stress, the rush and tensions of our daily lives. How nice would it be to plan a little get away just before all the hustle of the upcoming holidays? And maybe, the greatest advantage is the lower costs for that beautiful villa or apartment. Completely relax in a beautiful villa, a spa resort or stay at one of the many golf resorts. Go for a tour through the area, go wine tasting or enjoy the specialties of Spain like delicious tapas and sangria.

Sandy beaches, rocky bays, small cala’s and endless white beaches, Spain offers the best beaches for all. White sand and crystal clear turquoise water Spain is a true paradise for sure. But, what beach is the best for you? I can tell you one thing; in autumn it is a lot more quiet and peaceful.

The best food is one of the main reason
Paella, ensaimada, tapas, churros, roast suckling pig… need I say more? Absolutely, because let’s not forget the Sangria. The Spanish food is delicious and the Mallorquins are only too happy to enjoy this and eat all day every day. Throughout the day, the local bars are packed everywhere and especially in summer I recommend you to reserve in time. For some places you have to wait for weeks.

Ik heb al meerdere keren een bezoekje gebracht aan Spanje in verschillende periodes. Het is een mooi land, heerlijk klimaat en lekker eten.
Ik ga zeker dit opzoeken aankomend jaar!!
Ik ben echt nog nooit in spanje geweest, ik schaam me diep haha. Misschien dat wij aankomende zomer er op vakantie gaan. Wat een leuke foto’s trouwens! x

Hello from the US! Texas to be exact. Spain has always been on my list to visit. I’ve been to Austria, France, Italy and the U.K. But not Spain yet. I’ll make note to visit during the fall!
