| #VISITDOMBURG – ON THE MOVE TO DOMBURG, ZEELAND |
As you probably already know I’m always chasing the sun and it turns out I didn’t have to travel that far this time. Next on my schedule was my trip to sunny Zeeland in my homecountry. I always enjoy sharing my travel tips with you, but when it comes to my homeland, just a little bit more. Together with Nikki from @nonstopnikki I discovered Domburg for three days which was filled with a lot of sea food, sun, good wine and company.
First thing on our schedule was a visit at the Visbar and I must say, I and I must admit that it was one of the best Fruits de Mer I have eaten in ages. Later that day we went to the beach with 30+ degrees to shoot and had an amazing dinner at the Boterkapel which was definitely my favorite restaurant of this trip. The food was beyond amazing, as well was the service and I would happily take a three hour drive again to eat there.
The second day we started of our day with a great breakfast at Den Walcherschen Dolphyn and went for some well-deserved quality time to the Badhotel Domburg. Their spa is amazing and fully decorated with traces of the history of Zeeland like a storm shower, stray beds and showers fully decorated with mussels. Next on our program was surfing and after all that sportiness it was time for a really good hamburger at De Roode Leeuw.
Day three started of at Galerie POP with a delicious organic regional products before we went of to our last and final activity of the trip at Terra Maris. This museum was all about the history of the landscape and nature of Zeeland and the perfect place to end this trip with a picknick in their beautiful garden.
